Even though it took a few years to get a good crop, I love what our red raspberry canes produce. This is the first year we have been able to enjoy their abundance. We get this many berries (fills a rice bowl) every other day. I have put them in muffins, eaten them plain, and Todd loves them in vanilla yogurt.
Todd has mentioned that the raspberries have been his favorite from the garden of all the other vegetables. I have strawberries in planters, but they did not produce this year for some reason. I will be planting them in the garden when I get some horse manure in there in another month or so.
