Weekly Weigh-In

I weighed myself this morning, and I am still the same as last week!

Weight loss thus far: 6 lbs
Goal: 20 lbs by Thanksgiving
14 lbs to go by Thanksgiving

I know exactly why I havent lost any weight.  To be honest, I'm GLAD I didnt gain! I've been eating like a piggy and having a hard time saying no.  That is what I am going to be working on this next week.  Portion control (eating like the Boreings, which means like birds!) and maybe try to add a little more exercise.  I walked Lana 6 out of 7 days this week.  One of them not being very fast because there was a kitten walking behind us distracting the both of us.

I was asked to be a bridesmaid in my best friend's (since I was 2!) wedding.  I want to get to my goal weight of 150 lbs by then.  I've got a LONG way to go!

  1. Your doing great....it's so hard to lose weight and change eating habits. I'm right there in the "trenches" with ya!

  2. I had to chuckle when I read this!!

    Only buy healthy/healthy-ish foods and make them last all week! If there is not junk in your home you won't be tempted!!

    And you're right, at least you didn't gain anything...that's a positive!!

  3. A skinny guy from work (who wasnt big to begin with) lost quite a bit of weight this year himself. I asked him what he did, and he tracked his calories. So...as much as I hate to do it, it looks like it will have to be done. I downloaded the Livestrong app on my iPod to track what I eat. Another tiny blogger (Missy) eats 1200/day. That seems like NOTHING to me, but I will give it a whirl. It is obvious that what I'm doing is not working. So...Boreing-sized portions and calorie counting are in order!
